For those that don’t know, can you tell us a little bit about yourself and where you grew up?
I’m a UK blogger originally from London but now living on the Southcoast. Alongside blogging I work at my local concert venue photographing bands and musicians, some of the bands I’ve photographed include Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Earth, Wind & Fire, and I’ll be starting uni very soon studying Photography!
Where do you spend most of your time now?
On the South coast of England, by the seaside!
When did you start blogging?
I started blogging when I was only 15 years old, but in the last couple of years I’ve started to take it more seriously. By pushing the quality of my content and creating exciting new concepts behind each blog post.
What does a day in the life of yourself look like?
To be honest, it really depends on the day, I also have a job in retail so I could be working and then fitting in blogging/photographing outfits and products in between. Also sometimes I might have a gig in the evening to shoot, no two days are really the same for me at the moment!
We love your style! Who or what inspires your amazing outfit choices?
Thank you 🙂 At the moment I have found 90s punk-rock/band music has had a strong influence on my style. I’m forever taking inspiration from Courtney Love from Hole, 90s Kate Moss and MTV music videos. The inspiration behind the outfit can really depend on my mood and who I fancy channelling on that day! Although recently I’m going through a bit of a ‘darker’ phase with my outfit choices (there’s ALOT of black going on).
Any advice for other up and coming fashion bloggers out there?
Advice wise just keep blogging, promoting and commenting etc. Most importantly do it because you LOVE it and not for the followers or the stats.
What are three things you can’t live without?
Three things I can’t live without would be my phone for obvious reasons, my camera as I recently invested in my *dream camera* and I never go anywhere without it! And my Filofax-my life is in that diary.
In 5 years, where do you see yourself?
In 5 years time, I don’t really no where I’ll be or what I’ll be doing as the last half 2015 has taught me that can’t predict the future or my career path, no matter how much of a control freak I can be about it. But saying that, as corny as it sounds I hope to be happy, healthy and surrounded by positive people working in a career that I love.
What does being ’stylish’ mean to you?
Being ‘stylish’ to me doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be on-trend or ‘fashionable’, but to have a sense of confidence about the way you wear your clothes and to not give a damn about anyone’s preconceptions.
