Make Your Own Hand Sanitiser
If you’re down to your last drops and you don’t fancy paying what the shops are charging, it’s quick and simple to make your very own hand sanitiser! This DIY hand sanitiser spray by The Merry Thought is very easy to make – it’s only three ingredients, but can be made with just two if you leave out the essential oils! This homemade hand sanitiser uses rubbing alcohol (or isopropyl alcohol), vegetable glycerin and essential oils. The rubbing alcohol is what sanitises. The glycerin (or you can substitute natural aloe vera gel if you’d like) is used to protect your hands from drying out too much from the alcohol.
Supplies:
- 3/4 cup 91% isopropyl alcohol*
- 20 drops essential oil, optional
- measuring cup

Create an Instagram Account for your Pet
This may sound crazy and people often ask me how I got my French Bulldog 38k followers on Instagram but I’m here to tell you how that came about. I’d just moved to London into a brand new apartment building, and it didn’t have the internet. I thought I would completely go out of my mind. Who doesn’t have Wifi these days? I had to wait a whole month for the engineer to come out and install it. I got so bored, all I did was take cute pics of my dog all day long. Then it happened, I created an Instagram for her. I stopped spamming my friends and my mum and decided to post there instead. I posted a ton of photos, daily. As creepy as it sounds, I took cute photos when she was sleeping, I made videos of her learning a new trick. I even got mad creative and made her a sleeveless denim jacket with custom patches all over it. Of course, I had to take a photo of her in that too. You have so much time on your hands, it’s the perfect time to bond with your pet even more.
